A 7.5 magnitude earthquake struck Indonesia on Wednesday, August 5. The quake hit the island of Sulawesi, located in the central part of the country.
The quake was felt throughout Sulawesi, as well as in the nearby islands of Java and Bali. It caused damage to homes and buildings, and resulted in at least one death.
