The currency used in Indonesia is the rupiah. The rupiah is subdivided into 100 sen, although coins in circulation are in denominations of 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 and 100 sen, and banknotes are in denominations of 200, 500, 1,000, 2,000, 5,000 and 10,000 rupiah.
