The Bali starling, Leucopsar rothschildi, is a beautiful bird found only on the island of Bali in Indonesia. These striking birds are about 18 inches (46 cm) in length and have a wingspan of about 32 inches (81 cm). They are a pale yellowish-white with a black head, breast, and tail.
Bali starlings are very rare, and their population is estimated at only about 1,000 birds. They are threatened by habitat loss and hunting.
