A SIM card in Indonesia costs 100,000 rupiah (around $7.50), and includes 1GB of data and 30 minutes of talk time. Additional data can be purchased for 5,000 rupiah per GB.
To purchase a SIM card, you’ll need to show your passport and provide your home address. You can buy SIM cards from convenience stores, airports, or telecommunications providers.
Be sure to activate your SIM card within 5 days of arrival, or it will be deactivated.
