What is the season in Indonesia?
The seasons in Indonesia are determined by the monsoon winds, which blow from the Indian Ocean towards the Pacific. There are two monsoon seasons – the southwest monsoon from April to October, and the northeast monsoon from November to March.
The southwest monsoon brings hot, dry weather to the islands, while the northeast monsoon brings cool, wet weather. The temperature in Indonesia is usually hottest in May and coolest in January.
